About Us

Scála Strings is a young and vibrant String Quartet based in Northern Ireland. Its members have been performing regularly together since 2011. With a diverse repertoire and an enthusiasm for every genre of music, they love to bring their unique energy and passion to every performance.

Recent performances include BBC Radio Ulster 'Sounds Classical', the official naming of the 'William J Clinton Leadership Institute' for former US President Bill Clinton, performing for the Game of Thrones cast and crew, various BBC and UTV appearances, alongside events throughout the province such as the opening of the S.S Nomadic, BMS Chamber Babies, Stendhal Arts Festival and the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival.

Where repertoire is concerned Scála Strings have a wide and varied range of music covering several genres including classical, pop, rock, film and many more which is guaranteed to create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding or event.
